Goodbye wasted space. Hello SmugMungous.
Its S-t-r-e-t—c—h—y—!
What's to love?
We'll stretch your gallery to take you seamlessly from here... to there. More photos. No wasted space.

When we say "SmugMungous"...
We mean it. 70 thumbs alongside SmugMug's X3-Large display size? Your justification for buying a new monitor is complete. But my grandma's monitor is a fossil!
No worries, we know small monitors when we see them. Shrink your browser to see what she'll see.Gift idea: Send her that monitor you just decided to replace.
How can I see it in action?
Have a large monitor? Go here and resize your browser window. Have a smaller monitor? Take a peek at what you'd see at different sizes here.Does it work in all viewing styles?
All four of our current viewing styles stretch: SmugMug, Thumbnails, Slideshow and Journal.Do themes stretch?
Most do, some don't... yet. Themes that don't stretch will appear just as they always have.Themes that stretch: All Basic themes, all Elegant themes, Hitched, It's a Girl!, Be My Valentine, Bewitched, Snowflakes, all Ornamental themes, Black and White, Blue, Blue Lagoon, Fuchsia, Gold, Gradient Grey, Green (Old), Khaki, Orange, Red, SmugMug Classic, SmugMug Dashed, Spoonman, Tan, Teal, The Graduate, White (Old) and Yellow (Old).
Why do only some of my galleries stretch?
Check to see if you have a non-stretchy theme set for that gallery. What if I don't want my visitors to see my photos bigger?
No worries, we still honor the "largest display size" selected in your Customize Gallery settings. We'll only show the display sizes you allow.Good solution: Let your visitors admire larger display sizes, and protect your photos with a custom watermark.
Will the thumbnails get bigger as the page stretches?
Yes, you'll get more thumbnails on the page and if you open your window even wider, you'll see larger (up to 150 pixel) thumbnails.I have a Power, Portfolio or Business account with customization. Will this affect me?
If you have any customization in your CSS box, your site has stayed the same. If you want to turn stretchy on, look for the "yes/no" toggle on your customization page (Account Settings -> Style tab):In most cases, your site will stretch beautifully. You may need to make some code or art changes for things to stretch properly, or it could be as simple as choosing a different theme. Don't worry, we'll help - head on over to the Dgrin Stretchy Thread for special support.
If you have nothing in your CSS box (even if you have something in your header or footer box), your site will stretch by default.
If you've customized with a theme, and that theme stretches, great! If you chose a theme that does not stretch, you can choose a new default theme in your Account Settings and modify your customization for that theme. We'll help, if you need it.
