HTML5 Drag and Drop

The first time you click the Upload button (you'll find it near the top of your SmugMug homepage and every gallery page when logged in) and choose a gallery, you'll see this:
 

Simply drag your files into the box and let them go. We'll automatically start slurping them into your gallery.
 

Alternatively, you can click the Browse button to open a new window and pick individual files.

Watch the progress bars on each line or even pause the upload by hitting the pause button at the top. When you're done, hit the I'm done uploading button at the bottom right and we'll take you straight to the gallery.
 

Note: Just to be safe, we'll automatically skip duplicates if you're uploading files with the same name. You can opt to replace them or add them anyway using the drop-down menu in the top right corner.

Miss our Java uploader or prefer a Flash version? Click "Try a different uploader" at the bottom to switch. Our Flash uploader works great but make sure you choose the Browse button to select files instead of dragging them in.

Gotcha: Any single gallery can hold up to 5,000 photos. Anything more and we recommend you split up your photos into multiple galleries. Make browsing easy on your guests!
