Your Account Settings area is your key to everything you put on your SmugMug site. Find it at the top of your homepage and click the "Account Settings" (for Basic users), or "Tools > Account Settings" (Power Users, Portfolio and Business Smuggers).Your Account Settings are for your eyes only. No one else can see it unless they log in as you. If you are a Power or Basic user, you'll see five icons on the right. Portfolio and Business Smuggers see a sixth icon, "Business."
Each Tab Holds Useful Stuff

Your Me section contains three subsections. Your Profile lets you change anything about you that your visitors will see, like your Profile Picture, Bio Description and your general information.
StyleTip: Your SmugMug nickname is part of your website URL. You can change your nickname at any time, but don't forget to share the new link if you do.

Find all your general account stuff under Account, like your Email address and your Account password so you can log in.
You can set your Email Upload password, which allows others to upload photos to your account as attachments. More info.
Facebook logins make it fast and easy to log in to your account at SmugMug, but if you'd rather not use this, turn it off here.
You can also opt to receive email notifications when you receive new Comments on photos and galleries, and SmugMug Updates for when we release new stuff. They'll be sent to the email address you've set at the top of the page.
You can also create or visit your SmugVault to manage your archives.

The Subscription section shows everything you need to know about your account Subscription and Billing.
Get info here about your next renewal, upgrade your account, change your billing info, or gift someone else a SmugMug account.

The News section will display a list of our latest and greatest announcements. Check in periodically to see what you missed!

The Privacy tab is your password to permissions. You can set a site-wide Viewing password right here so only your special guests can see your site. Or edit and change the permissions your Friends and Family have on your site. If you're a Business Smugger, you can change your Assistant password, too.
You can Allow Collecting of your photos into other Smuggers' galleries, but if you prefer to keep them to yourself, simply disable that here. More details.
You can also disable Feeds for your SmugMug site, but note that this will break certain cool features such as maps and embeddable badges or slideshows.
Certain apps (like Camera Awesome) require permission to connect to your SmugMug account so you can upload and share photos. You can see them all under Authorized Apps, and de-authorize them if you wish.

Style is all about how your site looks to the world. You can apply one of our colorful Themes and create or edit custom Categories and Subcategories here.
If you've got a Power, Portfolio or a Business account, you can change the look and feel of your site and add your brand with the Easy Customizer or Advanced Customization.
Visitors to your SmugMug site using smartphones see your mobile site, a special view that is optimized for their browsing. You can turn this feature off if you wish.
If you're a Business, Portfolio or Power User, you can also add a custom domain but make sure you've set up the domain properly, first.

Get your site discovered. The Sharing section is where you can create, edit or delete your Sharegroups.
Business Smuggers will see a line where you can hook up your own Bit.ly Pro link shortener account. Everyone starts with a cool http://smu.gs address when you use Be Social, but if you have a Bit.ly Pro account you can enter your login and API key here.

Look under the Search section to make sure you've got the best change of being found. Your SEO settings let you enter specific search terms to index your site on Google, or you can opt out from web searches and SmugMug searches entirely.

Look under the Social section to manage everything related to social networks.
Follow Me links are the URLs that you supply to use the Share button, Follow Me. More info.
Social Sharing Buttons allow the Facebook 'Like' and a Twitter 'Tweet' button to appear under your photos. Disable this to turn them off across your site. More about Quick Share.

Your Stats tab is where you'll get the skinny on what's going on around your site.
Photo views are reported and the "statistics" link will give you the nitty gritty hits on each image size in each gallery. Tell me more.
This is also the place to moderate and delete Comments. Click the "view" links to get more details and enable/disable comment approval.
If you use Share Emails, all invitations that you've sent to view your photos are tracked here.
You can see all the details of your Uploads here. Review the last month of photos you've added along with any upload errors.
Referred anyone? You'll see your referral credits rack up here. Click "details" on the Ready to spend line and see the breakdown. You can also easily grab your unique referral code or a link to get your friends hooked on SmugMug.
Wonderful Stats features are already built right in to your account, but if you'd like to harness the power of Google Analytics, drop in the ID code they give you into that box. Find out more.

Portfolio and Business Smuggers will see a section at the bottom for Business, the place to go for everything related to making money. Note that if you have a Business account, you'll see a few more features in this section.
View and edit your custom Watermarks to protect your images.
Edit your Branding here to send Thank You Prints and custom packaging stickers along with your print orders. Your customers can also see your logo when they check out. Order branding help.
The Shipping section is where you'll toggle Personal Delivery or Boutique Packaging. As always, these controls are site-wide, but you can change it at the gallery level if you want to treat certain photos differently.

Making Money is just that: Find everything you need to set your pricing and sell it to your clients.
If you've set custom prices, we'll track print orders where you made a profit. Sales History shows you a breakdown of every item on every order. You can create and manage your Pricelists here, too.
Add, edit, or delete Coupons for your clients.
Create and manage Packages. Packages help.
Round up your galleries into Events and share them with clients.

Look under Getting Paid to organize and manage all of the money you're making.
Fill out and review your Tax and Payment Info so that we can pay you.
Change your Payment Schedule if you'd like to get paid next month or put all of your future profits on hold. Payment help.
Pros with a Portfolio or Business account who wish to collect sales tax on their orders can set it up with the Sales Tax Tool.
Pros with a Portfolio or Business account who receive 1099s can grab a copy from Electronic 1099 Access.
Finally, if you live outside of the US and have a VAT Exemption number, add it in here. If you don't know what that is leave it blank.
